Remember, For Us

The phrase "We Will Never Forget" is not just something people say, it's the truth for any American over the age of 22.
We remember where we were when news from New York showed the ultimate terror that shook lives across the Nation.

We watched as people screamed and the sky rained ash, glass, and cement for miles. Lives of thousands lost as planes hi-jacked by pure evil crashed into the World Trade Center and Flight 93 down into Pennsylvania.
I was 3 months pregnant with my daughter and on my way to college classes, listening to my rock music 950 miles away in
St. Louis. I remember sitting in traffic and everyone in their cars around me had shocked looks on their faces, some were crying, others yelling. It was odd, but it was St. Louis so I've seen weirder.
It wasn't until I got to school that I learned what was going on.

I am lucky enough to say that I had no loved ones in New York. However, there are way too many families that cannot say the same.
